Contemplative Monk : Intentional Spirituality Transforms

Awakening To The Presence

Walking With Wisdom

God’s presence is always with us. The theological term for this is Omnipresent. ‘What’s lacking is awareness.’ ~Richard Rohr
God is omnipresent in that the Creator transcends all limitations of time and space. YHWH is right here, and right now. God is present always, in every place, and at all times.

If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Hell, you are there!

The Purpose of Contemplation

What quietness and stillness do, is to bring us into the awareness of the presence of the Almighty. It’s called awakened awareness, as we have been spiritually asleep to these realities.

Quietness and stillness help bring us to a still point, where we can sense the eternal all around us, as if breaking through the fabric of space and time.

Practicing our spirit helps train us to see and experience the eternal presence of YHWH.

Only as we take the time to Be, can we truly Become whole in Christ.

Take time captive (with eternity) and dwell with God today. The love of God is utterly amazing. The joy of the Lord is our strength.
